About, credits and privacy
Grant the Wish is a daily game. You are the stork. Three parents make a wish for their newborn, and you deliver the baby to the country where that wish is most likely to come true.
How it works
Every day there are three new wishes, the same for everyone. The day changes at midnight UTC (7 am in Bangkok). You tap a country and grant the wish. Your score for each wish comes from where that country really ranks among all countries with data: the best country scores 100, the lowest 0, and tied countries share a rank. Three wishes make a total out of 300.
Grey places on the map have fewer than one million people or not enough data, so they cannot be chosen. The map shows countries as they are in Natural Earth's data; borders and names on it do not express any opinion on disputed territory.

Privacy
- There is no account and no login.
- The game stores your answers, your streak and your language choice in your own browser (local storage) so you can come back to them. They stay on your device. Clearing your browser data removes them.
- We do not set cookies and we do not use advertising or tracking tools.
- We count anonymous events, for example that a round was finished or that a share button was pressed, together with the game day and language. These counts have no user ID and no cookie, and we do not store your IP address with them.
- When you share a result, the link contains only the day and the three countries you chose. The score is worked out again from those when someone opens the link.
- The site is delivered by Cloudflare, which processes technical request data (such as your IP address and browser type) to serve pages and keep the service secure.
- When you follow a link to a travel partner, that partner's own privacy policy applies.
If we change what we collect, we will update this page first.
